DEDICATION TO SERVANTHOOD
The Bible highlights the importance of servanthood and Jesus emphasizes it. Some say that a faithful servant is someone who is humble before God, devoted and helpful, and ready to act when God inspires them. They should also help others in need and remember that it's not about money or reward. For over sixty years Elder William H. Cotton has demonstrated this example of servanthood. Whether in the classroom, family, church, Mr. Cotton has demonstrated the application that God requires to fulfill His word. Even at 93 years of age, he continues to give all he has.
A Servant Is Not Ashamed. It is a joyous work we've been given, and we look to the day when our Master returns and says to each of us, “'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master” (Matthew 25:23).
